MEET LAUREN
Lauren is an Emmy- and Critics' Choice–nominated Executive Producer. She is one of the few women in non-fiction television not only to showrun hit series, but to create, sell, and direct her own. She recently crossed over into fiction with her forthcoming debut novel. Lauren's work explores faith, family, friendship, and her favorite subject of all: love, always with an eye toward bringing hope and positivity to the screen. Her series have aired on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, and Peacock, reaching audiences in 190+ countries and 35+ languages, and have been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, Glamour, Marie Claire, and People.
She is the creator, executive producer, and director of Love in Fairhope, produced in partnership with Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine for Hulu/Disney+ and narrated by Heather Graham, and the creator of City Girl Diaries, now streaming on Apple TV+. She's also the executive producer and director of Netflix's Skin Decision: Before and After, bringing it from concept to an Emmy- and Critics' Choice–nominated series.
Lauren began her career at ABC's Good Morning America, then went to work directly for Barbara Corcoran, producing her morning show segments and eventually helping launch her production company. She moved into primetime and rose through the ranks to executive produce and showrun some of pop culture's biggest hits (The Hills: New Beginnings, Summer House, Shahs of Sunset). She also worked on Katy Perry: Part of Me, one of the highest-grossing concert films of all time.
An Ohio native, Lauren credits her faith and Midwestern roots as the inspiration for much of her work. When she's not writing or producing her next project, you'll find her curled up by the fire (even in the summer) watching rom-coms, spending time with her family, or taking pictures of her mutt-doodle Duke.
